Step 12: There you will need to enter the password, and enter the test link as password in the PSK Password field.

Step 13: Now, you should tap on save.

Now, you can check whether the range extender is working properly with the root router.

Step 14: Finally, you must set the computer in order to obtain the IP address automatically. In case you see that the Ping is not successful, you should check the above-done settings again.

 

And if you want to confirm that everything is working fine, you can just tap on the system tools and then tap on the Diagnostic. Then just type in the router’s IP 192.168.1.254 in the IP address and finally tap on Start.
